Safe Environments – Through Their Eyes is a child protection training program developed by the Department of Human Services (DHS), South Australian Government. The training is designed for staff and volunteers who work with children and young people, helping them recognise, respond to, and report concerns about children or young people who may be at risk of harm.
Participants will build their understanding of child protection responsibilities and develop the knowledge and confidence needed to contribute to safer environments within their organisation.

Delivered by a Department of Human Services (DHS), South Australian Government approved facilitator.

Please note: This is a non-accredited course. Participants who successfully complete the training will receive a Statement of Attendance.

• Risk and harm: abuse-related trauma
• Sexual abuse
• Through Their Eyes: disclosure
• Child-safe environments in organisations
• Reporting suspicions of risk and harm

Who should attend?
This training is suitable for:

• Individuals who have not previously completed Safe Environments – Through Their Eyes training.
• Anyone whose 3-year Safe Environments certificate has expired and requires renewal.

 
Statement of Attendance issued upon completion.
